Framework's Annual Service at Southwell Minster
- Start Date
- 23 March 2019, 10:30am
- End Date
- 23 March 2019, 12:00pm
All are welcome at Framework’s annual church service in the inspiring surroundings of Southwell Minster on 23rd March at 10.30am.
Those who have attended in previous years will know what a special occasion this is – with stories from people helped by Framework as well as members of staff who have helped them.
Homelessness and the risk of homelessness is now affecting near record numbers of people. The service is a chance to pray for people in need and to give thanks for the work the charity does to change and save lives.
Framework is not a specifically Christian organisation: it works with and supports people of all faiths and none. However many of the founders of the charities which merged to form Framework were practising Christians.
We very much appreciate the generous support which church groups and their members continue to provide to this day.
The service will last about an hour and will be followed by refreshments which is a good chance to meet service users, Framework staff and other Framework supporters. All are welcome.
One feature of the service is the distribution of candles. Representatives of church communities are invited to take away candles to provide a focus for further prayer and reflection at their own services. If it is likely that your church will be represented please let us know so we can make adequate provision. Contact Ollie Stewart at firstname.lastname@example.org or ring 0115 970 9558.
