Framework changes and, it is no exaggeration to say, saves people's lives. Everything we do is centered around the needs of the people we exist to support.
We hope that you find inspiration from the following case studies, which detail the lives of service users and the work of our staff.
'Lincolnshire' case studies:
“I slept rough for 20 years – mostly around Lincolnshire. It’s hard to explain to people why I lived that way for so long but I really wanted to support myself."
David was sleeping rough in Lincolnshire when he first approached Framework for help. He was helped into emergency accommodation and then into his own home.
Mark slept rough in a secluded roadside clearing near Lincoln for nearly nine years. He was helped by members of the Street Outreach Team to complete a remarkable transformation and move to a flat just a few miles away.
Michael, who has learning difficulties, has been homeless for much of his adult life. With Framework's support he is now living independently.
Paul was in and out of prison - committing crime to fund his drug addiction and his living costs. He was homeless and, in his own words, “a total mess.” Framework helped him to find suitable accommodation and helped him to be stable again.”
Tim, a hard-working family man who found himself sleeping on a park bench, is living proof that homelessness can happen to anybody.
Steven, who lived rough along the East Coast for more than ten years, had grown so used to life on the streets that he had started to abandon all hope of a return to mainstream society.
Charlotte faced a highly uncertain future when her relationship with her mother broke down and she was forced to leave the family home.
