Chris Prentice (Chair) Chris is also Chairman of two local businesses in Outdoor Accessories and toy soldiers. He is also a Duke of Edinburgh Leader.
Rebecca Rance (Vice Chair) is the Chief Executive of Newark and Sherwood Homes, a Nottinghamshire landlord and housing management company. With over 30 years’ experience in housing Rebecca is a member of the chartered Institute of Housing, has an Honours Degree in Housing and Masters in Business Administration. Rebecca is an experienced non-executive board member previously having been a director of Longhurst Group and Rykneld Homes. An active contributor at national level in the housing sector Rebecca until recently served as an executive steering group member of the National Federation of Arms Length Management Organisations ( ALMOs).
Diane Diacon (Chair, Audit and Risk Management Committee) was a former Director of the Building and Social Housing Foundation, an independent charity carrying out research into housing, both in the UK and internationally. She has published widely in housing related areas. Now retired, Diane volunteers for a local charity addressing domestic violence, as well as being involved with other local and international charities.
Di Parrish has worked in education throughout her career. Previously a Nottinghamshire secondary head teacher and education consultant she is now retired. She is a former trustee and chair of the safeguarding board of a national charity which supports, through community living, adults with special needs. She is an active member of her local community and involved in a wide range of local voluntary activities, including assisting with the interviewing and recruiting of volunteers for Framework.
Debbie Maitland (Chair of Governance, Remuneration and Appraisal Committee) is an HR Director for a global speciality chemical company. She has spent the majority of her professional life working in the area of employee and leadership development for both national and international organisations. From 1994 to 2001, she volunteered for Childline Midlands; during her time with Childline, she was a volunteer counsellor, recruiter and trainer; in addition she held a part time paid position as counselling supervisor for one of Childline’s dedicated services. Debbie is currently on the board of Safe and Sound Derby, a local charity that supports young people who are being, or who are at risk of being sexually exploited.
Dr. Vinay Shankar is a GP in Nottingham. He has previously worked as a GP Fellow for Nottingham City CCG where he continues work on local primary care projects. He has a keen interest in healthcare innovation and entrepreneurship. In his spare time, he enjoys writing, travelling and staying active.
Caris Henry is a Strategy and Transformation Consultant and has a background in strategy development and change management in the public, private and third sector. Caris has spent the last 18 months providing consultancy support to Southampton City Council supporting them to create a Local Authority Trading Company. Prior to this Caris worked within corporate development and business transformation for a FTSE250 outsourcer (Mitie Group Plc) which provides facilities and property management services.
Caris is an experienced housing board member and is currently a non-executive director of Staffordshire Housing Group, a social business creating opportunities to improve people’s lives in North Staffordshire and Cheshire. Caris has a master’s degree in Housing and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
Patrick Mitchell is the Regional Director for the South of England at Health Education England (HEE). He provides strategic leadership for the multi-professional workforce agenda through the local education & training board (LETB), leading a range of programme reforms.
Jane Geraghty, who lives in Newark, enjoyed a successful 40 year career in Probation. Jane is the Chair of Leicester City Adult Safeguarding Board and has also established a Charity to assist the resettlement of Syrian Families in Newark.
In a voluntary capacity Jane works with Framework as a Befriender and holds the position of Chair for the Home Start (Newark) Charity working with parents and pre-school children, having been a Trustee and the Chair since 2011. She has also had roles in the Nottinghamshire Mental Health Care Trust, the Parole Board, the Nottinghamshire Criminal Justice Board, the Nottinghamshire MAPPA SMB, and the Countywide Reducing Reoffending Board throughout her time at Nottinghamshire Probation.
